Sarah was in the Town News!! She was SOOOO excited :)

Cast Party for Kiss Me Kate

Sarah and her friends had a cast party after the 5 productions of Kiss Me Kate - I just love that she shares photos with mom!! :)

Scenes from Paramus Highschool's production of Kiss Me Kate

The play is a story from the '50s about a stage production of Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew.  The main characters are ex husband and wife and are cast as the main characters in the Shakespeare play as well.  A play within a play with many rolls and cast of characters - great fun!  Sarah had an ensemble role in this play but was the main designer and creator for all the props.  SO PROUD of her!

Sarah is behind the first scene flat in this part of the production - she designed and painted them all for the show.
Sarah is in purple.  She is one of the court during these scenes - also performs as a grape stomper during one number

 During the curtain calls.

listening with rapt attention to what was going on during the wedding proposition
Sarah is in the center during this rehearsal scene of the play
Sarah is a "box girl" preparing the stage for the big production
Again, part of the chorus during the wedding scene

Love her face in this one :)

Best excuse yet for not
showing up for work! Note: Naubinway , MI is on the north shore of Lake Michigan
on Route US-2 about 49 miles west of the Mackinaw Bridge
in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan .

Hello, Boss
I can't come to work today.
A moose was born on my front lawn and the
Mama won't let us out the front door!
Baby Moose, 12-hours old, born in the
middle of downtown Naubinway , MI .

In my 33 years in Michigan 's Upper Peninsula ,
I have never seen a new-born baby moose.
The mother picked a small quiet neighborhood
and had her baby in a front yard, near Highway # 2,

at 5:30 AM. Allen and I were bike riding when we
came upon the pair. The lady across the street from

the house said she saw it being born. We saw them
at 5:30 PM, so the little one was then 12 hours old.
What an awesome place to live!

"Makes it really tough to use the front door!"
