I went to see "THE" tree (Rockefeller Center, NY) get put in it's prime location this past week and took many many photos. This one intrigued me more than others. This is the display they have lining the main path of shops which leads to the main attraction. For the Christmas holiday season, it is usually strewn with lighted angels with trumpets and bows and all sorts of other holiday finery, but this early in the season, yet to be decked in the holiday lights and garland, this area is awash in the many varied colors of green. "Evergreens" resembling trees are mixed with low/wide plants and other garden finery. Not a flower in sight, but worthy of any florist. I just LOVED this simple yet multi layered display.
